Sustainability Role in overall company's strategic plans

We want to find bags that are fashion statement and as natural as our Linen Product Mix. We have sourced sea grass raw material and given to women self group in nearby locality to make bags as per their convenience and available time. This has given them freedom to work as per their schedule and we got our products economically and well in time. Our Linen western apparels got complemented by natural material like Sea Grass, Raffia Totes & Bags.

Sustainability initiatives

We have a complete chain of women self group in a village near Delhi specifically producing knitted bags in Natural material like Sea Grass & Raffia. We provide them Raw Material & Pattern and take back finished product. The women who are mostly from large family group are free to work on their time, speed and convenience and that's what really made them feel comfortable. They are able to fulfill their family duties and in spare time can do some extra and can generate some extra income for the family.

Pledges for the year

We are looking for some designers or labels who can provide us new designs to develop. We are also trying to explore government resources to get first hand information of some new alternate material to develop our fashion bags range.

Social equity at your company

We have not done any major work on this but just thought about one basic common need of all these women members to get their children admitted in school. To start probably we may able to open one nursery class within our factory premises where these children can be educated in front of their mother's eyes.
